Our new brand ✨

We have a brand new look! 

Our new brand continues and deepens the story of our work and we’re so excited to share it with you. 

Since our founding in 1993, we’ve grown and evolved - but at its core, our work has remained the same: We are here to create powerful, sustainable, irresistible movements for justice across Minnesota. We use training and capacity building to ignite the power of Black, brown, and Indigenous leaders to successfully organize for racial, social, and economic justice.

Our new logo situates us in the constellation of liberatory movements, and represents the guidance and connections that Voices for Racial Justice facilitates. We chose to incorporate the northern star and big dipper constellation because of their significance and symbolism in abolitionist and liberatory movements. They reflect the hope, imagination, and connection to our ancestors that we embody in our work.

We’re grateful to the team at Blackbird Revolt for their partnership and creativity in this project. They designed a brand that helps us embody our core organizational values of freedom, solidarity, collectivity, and integrity. 

Whether you’ve been building community power with us for the past 32 years or are joining us for the first time, we’re deeply grateful to be here with you as we continue our work for justice and step into our next chapter together.
