We are thrilled to welcome Irna Landrum as our interim co-executive director. Irna joins us with over 15 years of team and organizational leadership as an executive director, campaign director, trainer, and facilitator, and is dedicated to transformative justice.

Irna joins us from her previous role as Campaign Director at the Daily Kos. While that position was national, Irna is rooted in our Twin Cities ecosystem and has been a long-term organizer.

Irna will co-lead with our co-executive director Monica Bryand in the interim, and during the next few months our board of directors will be focused on finding a new leadership team that can usher Voices for Racial Justice into its next phase.

Our current model of shared leadership gives us the space and flexibility we need to welcome a new set of leaders for Voices for Racial Justice. It’s enabling us to undertake a deliberative and structured transition process. We look forward to walking alongside you as we continue our journey.

Join us in welcoming Irna!
