Mutual and Direct Aid

As we organize and advocate for policies that support our needs, dignity, and joy, we also fill in the gaps with mutual and direct aid. One of the best places to start is through organizations and collectives that are already doing the work to support the causes we care most about. Supporting them can look like making a donation, becoming a member or volunteer, or begin as simply as reaching out to learn more. Here is a (non-exhaustive) list of places to get involved, organized by issue:

*Note: these organizations and collectives are local to Minnesota and the Twin Cities metro area

  • Abortion funds are local, independent organizations that support people seeking abortions. Some funds offer logistical support, while other funds provide financial assistance.
