Emily Shaftel is a strategic communicator, creative producer, and storyteller. As the owner and principal of Shaftel Consulting, she works with clients to meet their goals through creative, savvy, strategic communications. Prior to starting her own business, Emily worked at the Bush Foundation and Planned Parenthood in Minnesota, and Oceana and the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress in Washington, DC. 

Driven by curiosity, empathy, and a passion for making the world a better place, Emily is dedicated to working collaboratively to build a just future. She loves to travel, dance, read, and hike. Being an auntie is Emily's favorite job, and her seven niblings are her favorite people.
