Racial Justice Organizer & Trainer

The Racial Justice Organizer & Trainer will co-create and implement organizing strategy around education equity for racial justice at VRJ. They will also serve as co-facilitator of the Education Equity Parent Fellowship and work with the Director of Community Engagement and Parent Fellowship alumni to co-facilitate education equity trainings. The ideal candidate has organizing and training experience with BIPOC and will have an analysis of race and gender. They will also know how to engage community authentically and creatively. A successful candidate should be an open-minded, proactive, and solutions oriented individual who is passionate about VRJ’s vision, mission, and approach to building power for Racial Justice. This is a remote position until further notice.

 

Digital Organizer 

The role of the Digital Organizer is a key part behind Voices for Racial Justice’s approach to building power with Black, Indigenous and Folks of Color across Minnesota. This role includes digital content production and dissemination across multiple channels, including social media, mobile messaging, website, and supporter databases. It will support our narrative power-building and online-engagement efforts. The ideal candidate has experience in developing and implementing digital strategy campaigns with an analysis of race and gender. They will also know how to engage authentically and creatively on social-media platforms to cover events and bring people into the work. A successful candidate should be an open-minded, proactive, and solutions oriented individual who is passionate about VRJ’s vision, mission, and approach to building power for Racial Justice. This is a remote position.
