This gathering of African American people of faith, organized by the strong voices for racial justice at ISAIAH, will lift your spirits!
Thursday, April 4, 2013
10:00-11:00 a.m.
Minnesota Capitol Rotunda
The time is now for action. Minnesota’s African American communities face some of the largest disparities in the country.
- Only 49% of African American students graduate from high school on time.
- Minnesota has the highest employment gap in the country between African Americans and whites.
- The median household income for African Americans in our state is the lowest of all racial and ethnic groups.
Use your voice to Speak, Challenge, and Urge on a path to greater justice for African Americans in Minnesota.
